During Term 4, our DT project was to create a toy using a cam mechanism. We researched designers and identified a target market for our product, before designing our own projects. We used a variety of skills to create our product, including measuring and sawing dowel rods to a required length and joining different materials together. After constructing our toys, we evaluated our own and each others to identify the areas we were most proud of and those areas we could improve.
