Science – Teeth and Eating
In our recent science lessons, we investigated the diets of owls by dissecting owl pellets. Using our observation and classification skills, we carefully examined the pellets to identify the bones and remains of small animals, learning what owls eat in the wild. We practiced making observations, recording data, and drawing conclusions about the food chain, all while having fun uncovering these tiny mysteries!
DT- CAD Shell structures
In our recent DT lessons, we explored different variations of nets for cubes, cuboids, and triangular prisms. We worked hands-on to create as many different nets as possible, discovering how 2D shapes can fold into 3D structures. This exploration prepared us to use computer-aided design (CAD) to create our own shell structures, blending creativity with practical design skills!
