Homework

Each week, children will be asked to learn a spelling pattern through practising 8-10 spellings and complete a written activity. Each week, children should read at least three times. At least one of these occasions should be to an adult practising their fluency (Six Ps of fluency: Pitch, Punctuation, Power, Pace, Passion, Pause).

Learning all tables up to 12×12 so they can be recalled rapidly is extremely important in Year 4. This will enable children to more easily tackle more complex problems towards the end of the year and in UKS2

Please encourage your child to go onto Timestable Rock Stars as much as possible each week.
